Radio broadcast stations: Morocco's state broadcaster RTM operates a radio service from Laayoune; the broadcaster's TV service is also relayed in the territory. RTM website lists AM 711 kHz as Dakhla, not Laayoune. Both located in former Spanish Sahara. Regional service of Radio Laayoune: 2030-0200. On the other side of the political divide, a Polisario-backed mediumwave (AM)and shortwave radio station is on the air. AM 2, FM 0, shortwave 1 (7460 kHz relaying AM 1550 kHz. e.g. in Spanish 2300-0000 UTC)
